In her talk “Unconventional Weaponizations,” Anderson will discuss the importance of traditional and intergenerational cultural ceramic learning in addition to academic learning. She will share her continued exploration and fabrication of objects that reference everyday weaponizations from a non-narrative future scape. Her work challenges what we choose to value. She questions what parts of ourselves, our histories, and are futures are seen as threatening, dangerous, and undecipherable to others and to ourselves.

Please join us for this exciting and important talk by PJ Anderson. The talk will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2pm PST. All are welcome, but registering is required. To register, please see here. We look forward to seeing you there!
