Assistance to the DTES
In 2021, the NWCF will initiate support for two organizations, Mission Possible and Just Potters. Both organizations are located in the Downtown East Side and provide opportunities for residents to experience the benefits of working with clay.
In 2018, the NWCF committed to providing funds to Arts Umbrella for bursaries and scholarships supporting young people in need, enabling them to attend clay classes held at Arts Umbrella facilities throughout BC.
The NWCF has provided support for the following initiatives:
Fingerplay, 2008-2009, a BCPG traveling exhibition, organized by Kathryn O’Regan, exhibited around BC during 2008/09, and concluding at the Gallery of BC Ceramics, March 2009.
Masters Symposium in Parksville, BC, in 2005. The event marked the AGM of the Potters Guild of BC 50th Anniversary Year and was hosted by the Arrowsmith Potters Guild. The keynote speaker was Paul Mathieu (NWCF).

Ceramic Journal subscriptions for the ECIAD Library and financial assistance to the ECIAD Ceramics Department, 2003 – 2004.
