Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony

Founded in 1998 by John Cloutier, Keith Rice-Jones and the PGBC Board, the From Oven and Kiln silent auction and dinner, held biannually, has become our main fundraising event. Funds raised through the Oven and Kiln Auction/Dinner supported the Jumpstart Scholarships, and continue to support the Maureen Wright Scholarships and, beginning in 2009, the NWCF Award.

Each year at the Dinner, ceramic pieces, made and donated by many of BC’c most outstanding ceramic artists are featured in the Silent Auction. All guests are gifted their dessert plate, also made and donated by BC potters.

This past year also featured Ivan Sayers show of historic clothing, Fashion in the Arts.
